Shipping policy
SHIPPING
First of all, we’d like to explain something important: how we operate.
We’re not a shop with a permanent warehouse open every day. We’re a market stall in Forte dei Marmi, which means we move around and operate in a completely different way to a traditional e-commerce business.
For this very reason, we are unable to dispatch orders every day, but we organise dispatches twice a week. This may mean slightly longer delivery times than you are used to with traditional shops.
All orders are, however, carefully prepared and dispatched as quickly as possible, with estimated delivery times of 2–9 working days for Italy and Europe, plus the courier’s delivery times.
Deliveries within Italy generally take place within 2–9 working days (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), but there may be variations, particularly for the islands or areas considered remote by the courier.
For shipments to the UK, the USA and Switzerland, any customs duties, local VAT and import charges are payable by the customer and will be collected by the courier upon delivery.
Once the parcel has been handed over, we are unfortunately unable to monitor any delays caused by the courier or individual branches, but we will always do our utmost to intervene and urge delivery in the event of any problems.
We are not liable for orders held in storage or returned to the sender, situations which may arise in the event of an incorrect or incomplete address or an absent recipient. In such cases, please provide us with the correct details as soon as possible so that we can arrange a new delivery. However, we cannot guarantee the timeframe for the courier to reschedule delivery.
The delivery costs and terms stated at the time of checkout shall prevail, particularly for destinations not explicitly mentioned.
